"SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL"
AT GREEN HOPE HIGH
Green Hope High School presents
Dr. Seuss
CARY, NC -- The
magical imagination of children's author Theodore Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss,
comes to life on the Green Hope High School stage in the production
of Seussical the Musical on Friday, April
7 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, April 8 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm, and Sunday,
April 9 at 3:00 pm. Green Hope High is located at 2500 Carpenter Upchurch
Road in Cary.
Tickets are $8 per person and available at the door one hour before curtain each night. Tickets for students presenting their school or college I.D.'s are $5. Employees of the Wake Country Public School System are granted complimentary tickets.
This show is a rollicking, heartwarming
musical compilation of Dr. Seuss' most loved stories and most memorable
characters. Guaranteed to bring delight to adults and children alike,
Seussical taps the talents of almost 100 Green
Hope students in the cast, the pit orchestra, and the tech theatre crew.
Choral / Drama teacher Maggie Walpole is at the helm of this production,
assisted by many parent volunteers as well as other department teachers.
Seussical promises to be another favorite
in Green Hope's 5-year tradition of excellence in musical theatre productions.
