SPONSORSHIP GHHS Fine Arts Boosters need your help! Fine Arts programs in public schools face continual assaults as funding from the state and local government is slashed and yearly budgets decreased. Due to population growth and financial pressures, fewer and fewer public schools, particularly newly constructed Middle and High Schools, are even offering Fine Arts programs, such as Chorus, Dance, Orchestra, and Visual Arts, to the lasting detriment of our children and our community. Last year with support from our community of parents and corporate sponsors, we were able to provide supplemental funds for Fine Arts teachers to purchase supplies and equipment (musical instruments, music, recording equipment, set construction supplies, art supplies, etc.). In addition, we provide funds to support clinicians and teacher training, theatre productions, dance performances, art displays, orchestra concerts, and choral concerts as well as awarding past scholarships to graduating college-bound seniors. This year we are looking forward to another successful year for the arts with support from the Green Hope community. We are asking for your help. It is likely you have employees or customers whose children attend Green Hope High School. By becoming a sponsor, any donation you make will directly benefit those and other students in the community. You can contribute to the general fund to support all programs, or you can make a targeted contribution to help with the purchase of a big-ticket item that will have broad impact on all Fine Arts programs. This year we are collecting targeted funds to purchase sound stage panels for our auditorium, which will significantly enhance the quality of the musical and choral performances. In appreciation for your support, the Fine Arts Boosters will recognize your company as a corporate sponsor by showcasing your generosity to the community in various programs and other venues as they are scheduled.
