Pasha Whitmire for sculpture from Mrs. French's Art I. And Scott Welsh (Apex High) for painting in Mrs. Carl's Studio Art class. And congratulations to the following Silver Key winners: Caleb Lin for digital imagery and Greg Hayter for mixed media, both in Mrs. Carl's AP Studio Art class. Also, Ariana Abbasi for drawing in Mrs. French's Independent Study. Brittney Flood for painting in Mrs. Poppe's Art 3 Honors class. March 2008: Congratulations to the following WCPSS Pieces of Gold Winner: Caleb Lin for "Best in Show." Caleb is a student in Mrs. Carl's AP Studio Art class and was featured in the "Living in Style" supplement to the Raleigh News & Observer.

Congratulations to Lily Fu for winning second place with her Baroque painting in the Art Splosure Festival and art competition held April 12-13 in Raleigh. Lily earned a cash award.
