On Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 7 PM, Green Hope will host the 20th annual Western Wake County Orchestra Festival. Marta Partridge of the Triangle Youth Symphony is the guest conductor. The event features performances by the string orchestras of Apex HS, Cary HS, Athens Drive HS, Green Hope HS, Dillard Drive MS, Martin MS, West Cary MS and Davis Drive MS. New this year, the Apex HS and Green Hope HS Guitar Ensembles will perform in the concert. Please join us for this great concert - admission is free!

THE 2015 COA NATIONALS FOR MIXED CHOIRS
Z. Randall Stroope will conduct a projected 800+ singers in a massed choir concert
in Carnegie Hall during the prestigious three-day event
Green Hope High School’s Voices of Hope recently accepted an invitation from Choirs of America to be one of a handful of elite choirs to participate in the 2015 COA Nationals for Mixed Choirs.
“We carefully select and invite only top choral programs,” said COA’s Artistic Director, Christopher Scott Olin. “These choirs then come together for unprecedented choral music education opportunities and performances.”
Green Hope High School’s Voices of Hope will be attending the COA Nationals in April of 2015. The event will take place in the New York City area on April 23, 24 & 25, 2015. Z. Randall Stroope, the Doug and Nickie Burns Endowed Chair of Choral Music at Oklahoma State University, is one of the world’s most respected choral composers and conductors and will be the COA National’s Master Conductor.
