Congratulations to the GHHS Senior Class of 2015! Thank you for your participation in and contributions to the Fine Arts Department at Green Hope. May the Fine Arts continue to be a part of your lives. We will miss you!
As I close the door of room 608, next week, for the last time, I just want to thank each and every one of you, parents, students, teachers, community members, who have supported me in building the Choral Program and starting the Theatre Program here at GHHS. These kinds of monumental tasks do take a village. Thank you, Village, for believing in the Arts and believing in me. I have been Blessed many gestures of thanks and well-wishes in the past month. I go into Retirement knowing that my successor, Mr. Jeremy Tucker, will really take the choral program to the next level. I look forward to watching and enjoying.
Again, Thank You from the bottom of my heart, and God Bless You.

What is the meaning of true art? What causes a person to look at a painting and find it beautiful. Are there certain things in the world that all people can consider art? Are there certain things that no one should consider art?
Consider the following: Say that someone buys a work of art that seemingly has no substance to it. No color. A purely blank canvas. If that person loves the blank canvas, who has the right to tell them that they are wrong. How can an opinion be wrong. And if someone else believes it is wrong, then that brings up the point, are humans who they are, or are they who others believe they are. And if every person is simply what others believe they are, than how can anyone truly ever be themselves.
This is a story about three men, whose friendship is put to the test over a white canvas, bought by one of the friends for a large sum of money. Their friendship will be put under strain, and the whole situation will destroy their understanding about themselves and about the others. Join us for a afternoon of personal learning, broken bonds and intense pressure as three best friends are torn apart over a white painting.
