FAB Mistletoe Market Visual Arts Scholarship -
Due to Student Services by Tuesday, May 15th
Mistletoe Market supported by The Green Hope High School Fine Arts Boosters organization (FAB) wishes to present two GHHS college-bound seniors with a $1,500 scholarship.
The purpose of this award is to recognize a graduate who has been active in the Visual Arts - while demonstrating good character, leadership qualities, and scholarship during their tenures at GHHS. Applicants will be evaluated by a committee comprised of three adults including members of the local arts community.
To meet the criteria established for this scholarship, candidates must:
Instructions: Please complete the downloadable doc application below, and submit to the Student Services Office by Tuesday, May 15th. Late applications will not be considered.
Complete applications will include the following:
1) original application form, typed or neatly written,
2) two or three letters of recommendation as outlined below,
3) your essay,
4) a photocopy of a letter of acceptance from a college or university, and
5) 3 prints of your best artwork.
The two qualifying graduates will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship sent directly to the college or university that they will attend.

FAB Mistletoe Market Visual Arts Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to our 2017 FAB Mistletoe Market Visual Arts Scholarship recipients, Julie Hwang and Hannah Shipley! They join Felix Chang, our first student to receive the FAB Mistletoe Market scholarship, in a tradition of partnership between our wonderful vendors and Green Hope Fine Arts.
Funds for these scholarships came directly from vendor participation fees in our Mistletoe Market. Students were selected by a committee of artists in the community for being active in the Visual Arts, while demonstrating good character, leadership qualities, and scholarship during their tenure at GHHS. |
